You, the foreign-citizen fiancé(e), (and eligible children applying for K-2 visas) will be required to bring the following forms and documents to the visa interview:
-Two (2) Nonimmigrant Visa Applications, Form DS-156 (prepared in duplicate).
-One (1) Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) Visa Application, Form DS-156K
-A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions)
-Birth certificate
-Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
-Medical examination (vaccinations are optional)
-Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)
-Two (2) 2x2 inch photographs. See the required photo format explained in Nonimmigrant Visa Photograph Requirements
-Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)
-Fee receipt from any BANAMEX or SCOTIA bank branch $240.00 Dollars, for each applicant or online payment proof. Note: Please validate your Banamex or Scotia bank payment at http://mexico.usvisa-info.com
Note: The Consular Officer may ask for additional information, such as photographs and other proof that the relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is genuine. Documents in foreign languages, other than the language of the country in which the application takes place, should be translated. Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.

Most visa applicants in Mexico are required to visit an Applicant Service Center (ASC) prior to their consular section interview. The ASC staff collects the applicant's biometric information that will be reviewed by the consular section prior to the applicant's interview. The ASCs are located in buildings separate from the U.S. Embassy and Consulates. For more information go to

Each applicant must present the following documentation at time of medical appointment:
A. Visa Appointment Letter.
B. Passport.
C. Required fee of U.S. $135.00 dollars covering only the medical examination. No additional
fee will be charged if supplemental examinations are required. Except for DNA testing, it will require that
petitioner/applicant cover the expenses.
D. The cost of medical exams for those under 15 years of age will be U.S. $55.00 USA dollars.
E. A 10% tax (I.V.A.) must be added to the cost of the medical exam.
F. It is not necessary to bring a photo for your medical exam, it will be provided by the medical clinic without charge.
NOTE: Applicants ages two (2) years to (14) fourteen years of age must undergo the medical examination at least four (4) work days
prior to their scheduled appointment at the Consulate. Failure to do so may result in processing delays or rescheduling of initial
appointment. It is also recommended that children within this age range should be immunized at least four (4) weeks prior to their
medical examination.
Hours for receiving visa applicants are from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Medical Offices are located close to the
Consulate. If you suffer from a chronic illness, have been treated for any venereal disease or are under psychiatric care, the Doctor
recommends you to bring your medical file or have one forwarded to the Doctor prior to your medical examination.

if you ply for a K-1 visa insist on geting a copy of your DS 3025 medical form from the medical facility, you will need this later for your AOS this form your vacination forms other wise in the States without that form a civil surgeron will want to perform the whole exaM AGAIN for no less than 300, bring your vacination records with you , if the medical facility doesnt give it to you,ask for it tell to the imnigrant officer at your POEbelieve me its a big problem once you are in the USA
