The instructions on the website are nearly identical to the packet that is delivered to Dominican resident. Since the mailing service (INPOSDOM) is not very reliable, you should follow the instructions below and prepare for your upcoming interview before packet arrives.

For K1 filers, make sure you bring your 2 Banco Popular receipts, showing payment for Visa. Also, bring $80 to pay for remainder of Visa balance, and up to $12.50 to pay for visa delivery after approval.

To pick-up your results you should return to the Consultorios de Visa at 2:00 p.m. of the day BEFORE your consular section appointment. YOU MUST BRING YOUR PASSPORT IN ORDER FOR US TO GIVE YOU THE RESULTS OF YOUR EXAMINATION. In some cases Consultorios de Visa will send your results directly to the consular section. Children are not examined on Thursdays.
