Consulate Review: Belgium Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : March 1, 2009 Embassy Review : interview was very to the point, extremely short. They were only interested in seeing the correct paperwork and were happy to help me as fast as possible. There was confusion about the "militia certificate", a weird document that doesn't really exist anymore, so you have to bring an official statement from your town hall saying that it doesn't exist anymore :-). Non-Belgians need not worry about this at all. Anyway, I came back the next day to turn in this form and got my visa 10 minutes later. Piece of cake. Rating : Very Good
