Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had a good interview at the USCIS office in Fairfax, VA. Arrived about 10 minutes before our appt. and went through security and then checked in. The officer came out and called us about 20 minutes after the scheduled time. He looked at our ids and passports and then took my husbands picture and fingerprints. Then he verified my info in the I-130 and asked my husband all of the eligibility questions. Then he asked if I wanted to add anymore evidence and I added some things. He told us it would be 1day to 120 days to receive any news of approval or intent to deny. I think it went well, but it was a weird experience. Hopefully it comes soon. Good luck to everyone else! I really thought he would ask more questions and want to hear more about us.

She asked us some random unrelated questions to make us feel comfortable. She asked us about our first meeting, dates, family, travel, enagagements, jobs, residence, marriage and all. My wife instead of answering to individual questions narrated our story from beginning to end and she didn't ask anything further. While my wife was nar... read complete review
