The interview was very straightforward. I (US petitioner) accompanied my fiance. The interview was conducted in English/Spanish. They asked us a few simple questions (when did you meet, where are you moving to, what work do you do), hardly looked out our documentation, and then gave us the approval.

All experiences with staff at this embassy was pleasant and cordially. They were all helpful and the process was smooth and easy.

Our interview was in January, It was a smooth and quick process. We had our paperwork organized and that helped when they were asking for them. The wait was about 30-45 minutes, the k1 VISA line is a different line. They will ask you and move you to the correct line.

My interview was very fast, they asked some questions and realized that everything was fine. I brought all the documentation they asked but the did not see them, they only kept my affidavit of support and medical examination package as well.
