Ahed said the officer for his interview was very nice! He asked him questions about our relationship, about my family & their ages. Also, he showed him pictures that I had sent with my original application of Ahed & I & asked where those pictures were taken.
All in all, everything went well & he was approved for his K1 Visa. The officer said he would receive his visa within 2 weeks. They mail their visas out to the beneficiary.

We were approved today. My husband had a very painless interview. The Embassy staff have been great with answering questions and responding to emails..

Husband had interview on July 30th. Said he was interviewed by a man that seemed to be a new consular. He couldn't speak any arabic (had a translator present) but husband elected to have interview in english anyway. He said the man had to call someone and ask was it legal for a muslim to marry a christian!! Next asked him what evidence he had to show him. He asked what was the last thing he received from me (his wife) in the mail. Said he asked very few questions and that was it. Said he was approved!!!

Every thing was great. Except for one thing. Jenny got the wrong police report. The Embassy requires a Police Certificate from the Jordanian CID. Jenny is from the Phillipines. Can anyone tell us how long this process will take. They gave her a letter stating she must Aramex her Passport and Police Certificate to the Embassy. Please can someone help us.

The interview was smooth, except for one thing. They require 'police certificate', but we interpreted this different than the embassy's interpretation. In the embassy's interpretation, police certificates is obtained from the intelligence bureau, but in our interpretation, we obtained a non-conviction certificate from the courts.
So we had to send the certificate later to them after the interview, but there was no new interview scheduled.
We then received the visa by Aramex, it took a whopping 3 weeks for the visa to go through what they called the 'print process'. Apparently, they actually engrave the visa stamp separately for each visa (or otherwise the print process would have taken much less time).
Other than that, everything was fine.
