OUR INTERVIEW WAS ON AUG 8TH ..WE ARRIVED AT THE EMBASSY AT 8:30 AM FOR OUR 9:30 AM APPT. ONCE WE GOT TO THE EMBASSY RY AND I JOINED THE THE LINE OUTSIDE THE EMBASSY THE YOUNGMAN COLLECTED TOOK THE APPOINTMENT LETTER AND INITIAL IT GAVE IT BACK ,HE THEN TOOK THE PASSPORT PICS AND STAPLED IT TO THE RESPECTABLLY ds FORM AND GAVE IT BACK , HE TOOK THE PAYMENT ...WE THEN PROCEEDED THROUGH SECURITY , AFTER SECURITY WE WALKED INTO THE COURT YARD, WHERE I MET BERRY*ANOTHER vj MEMBER ....MY FIANCE RY THEN WAS THEN SHOWED THE WAY TO ENTER THE EMBASSY,
HE SAID ONCE HE WENT IN HE WAS CALLED TO THE 1ST WINDOW WHERE A NICE CAUSCIAN LADY TOOK THE ds FORMS , AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT AND TAX RETURN FOR 09, 10 BANK STATMENT , JOB LETTER , PAYSTUBS AND HIS BIRTHCERTIFICATE...HE SAID ALL SHE KEPT ON TALKING ABOUT HOW ORGANIZED HE WAS , SHE ASKED HIM IF HE HAD ANY PICS BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO SEE HIS FIANCE..HE GAVE HER SOME LOOSE PHOTOS ,HE SAID THAT SHE WAS SO MUCH INTO THE PHOTOS, THAT SHE ... read complete review

Honestly my experience was good,but even with such an experience, I am still waiting to get my Husband, and that is quite puzzling to me,all that the blue sheet says "administrative review"

Question does anyone know if the actual appointment letter is needed to interview? My fiance never received his letter. I emailed Kingston with our case number and received his interview date and time that way. So we only have the email as proof. I just don't want him to run into any problems.

My fiance' had his interview in JA and was not granted a visa. He was not denied and was not given a slip of any sort with the reason for the wait. After emailing the embassy several times, I was told that we would undergo administrative processing and would be notified upon completion. That was misinformation as all the while, the petition was being returned to the U.S. to be reviewed again. During this time, the visa expired and there is no other alternative but to reapply. My advice is to obtain a document before leaving your respective consulate to avoid this type of runaround.
