My fiance got to his interview right on time....this may be why he said it took forever, lol. He said the people were very nice to him. He was interviewed by a woman (which he was praying) and she only asked him five questions. She asked where I worked, if I loved my job, my kids names, when was I there, who proposed to who and how did I get my ring, lol. She actually laughed at our story and was very friendly. He went prepared with alot of paperwork (the huge packet I sent off), plus his own pics and mail. She looked over the pics he gave her, and he was told nothing else was needed. He tell me people were laughing at him cause he had so much things but he even confirmed that it is better to be over prepared than come empty handed. He told me other people who did not have alot of documents were asked lots of questions. He was approved of course. Real love always prevails. As he was leaving they called him back....just needed to get better fingerprints. Glad they caught him or he would... read complete review

My fiancé got to the embassy within an hour of appointment; was allowed in right away. Processing took place. He said interview went well. I sent an organized 3 ring binder of all documents I could provide a week prior to appointment and was amazed how quickly FED X delivers (($40.00)). He didn't go with original birth certificates for him & children. Consulate asked a couple questions (What I did for a job and if he knew I was married before). He then gave him a white document that said "Conditionally Approved", kept his passport, gave him a brochure to be sure he was registered with DHL (which he was already) & told him to submit the birth certificates by mail with the address on the white form.
His interview was on June 27 and I believe we were the perfect example of being caught up in the waiting game of "issued" because of the main computer system being down for the Department of State. When the system got up and running it went to ISSUED immediately on August 1, 2014 (th... read complete review

I got there about 6:45 for my 7:30 appointment. There were 2 lines there but I jointed the shorter one based on reviews I read. They let us in at about 7:00. We went through security and then walked to a big tent were I waited for about 20mins before we were called inside. I went inside and received a number. After being seated inside it look about an half hour before my number was called and then I gave then my medical and passport and did my finger prints. It took 1hour and a half before I was called for the second interview. He asked these questions:
How did we meet?
How long ago did we meet?
Have I ever been outside the country?
When was the last time my husband was here?
Did I have any pictures to show him today?
Are you excited to move to the US?
In all it was a great experience . He said 2-4 weeks for me to get back my passport but I hope I get it back before the 2 week mark. I can't wait to see my husband .

My husband said the interview went well. Hubby was there at 6am for his 7:30 interview he said there were already 25 people on line. They let him in at 7am.
Once inside he said things moved so fast. They only asked him a few questions
-where did we meet
-has he ever been arrested
-where you dating you wife while married
-asked my stepdaughter 2 questions , what's my name and if she loved me
For the most part it went smooth. There where other interviews going on and he overheard them asking a lot of questions. They did not ask him for any paper work or pictures . He was prepared with everything but never even opened his folder. He noticed a lot of people did not have there documents . They said 3-4 weeks for visa.
