I followed visajourney for several months..The process is time consuming, costly, and emotionally stressfull...I filled my 129F forms based on the examples on visajourney..They were very helpful..I did not get any RFE thank God..Thanks to everyone else who shared they experiences throughout the process...i noticed that a lot of HAITI members dont write any review either if they get the visa or not...i did not create a timeline but i want to write a review..the interview process was easier than everything else for me..I went to the interview with my fiance..i was able to attend the interview and it was EXTREMELY HELFUL..The CO begun the interview by asking me questions..she asked me several questions in english then she asked my fiance 2 questions in creol..Twice my fiance didnt understand what the CO meant..i explained to him...The CO really appreciated it..The CO only asked my fiance 2 questions..Then The CO said HAVE A SAFE FLIGHT...I was lost..my Fiance said THANK YOU....thats when ... read complete review

PLEASE EVERYONE DO NOT USE DR THEARD FOR YOUR MEDICAL. HE IS A SCAM ARTIST. HE GIVES VACCINATIONS EVEN THOUGH YOU ALREADY HAD THEM AND CHARGES $100 FOR EACH SHOT! HE WILL SEND YOU TO DO A SPUTUM TEST EVEN THOUGH YOUR TB CAME OUT NEGATIVE AND CHARGE $322. SINCE APRIL AND NOW WE ARE IN SEPTEMBER. THEY TOLD MY FIANCE HE NEEDED 1 MORE VACCINATION TO GET THE PAPER, THANK GOD HE HAD PROOF THAT HE HAD THAT VACCINATION. SO NOW HE TOLD MY FIANCEE TO RETURN ON SATURDAY FOR HIS SEALED ENVELOPE AND SAT WHEN HE WENT THE RECEPTIONIST SAID DR THEARD FORGOT TO SIGN IT COME BACK MONDAY. AND NOW TODAY (MONDAY) MY FIANCE GOES TO PICK UP HIS MEDICAL TO BRING TO THE EMBASSY THEY TELL HIM THAT HE WAS MISSING SOME PAPER FROM 3 YEARS AGO. BEFORE WE WERE EVEN TOGETHER!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DR

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Wawa went in for his interview today at 7:00 a.m. and was done by 8:30! The first question the CO asked was how we met. She also asked asked him a few other basic questions such as where and when we plan to get married, where I stayed when I was there, and where we went. The interview started in Creole and ended in English. javascript:emoticon('') The CO asked for his passport and had him go pay the $10 fee for the visa. They said he can pick it up on 5/5 at Haiti Messager. I had sent a notarized letter stating that I was unable to attend the interview but the CO didn't even look at it.

Based on what I was told by my fiancee, there were a lot of people. They called her to the window and they asked her a few questions about her fiance and how we had met. The questions were very simple and basic that a fiance/e should answer with no problems.within ten minutes the interview was over they returned some of the papers and pics to her and was told to go pay a $10.00 fee and there they gave her a card with a 4 digit # on it that identifies her package to be picked up on the 4/14. on the 9th I called the haiti messager and it was ready for pick up.
It was much easier than I thought, but I would advised all petitioners to attend their partner's interview in port au prince. While I did not attend mine, I could not advise anyone to miss theirs. Also it is a good idea to coach your partners to be confident during the interview...nervousness tends affect our abilities to think. Just because you are not lying, you can still raise doubt if you are too nervous.

Agard went for the interview on April 8. He arrived at 7am as directed and was finished by 12:30. What I know is from what he told me when he came out, so its not first-hand experience.
In the weeks leading up to the interview we heard many reports of folks being told that they would have to come back for a dual interview on a fiance visa. This was going to be very difficult for us for a number of reasons. I wrote a letter and had it notarized that I sent with the documents for package 3.5. I told the consular officer that I still intended to marry Agard, that I wish I could be there, but because I am 14 weeks pregnant, my doctor's had expressly advised that going to Haiti (with potential Cholera and food poisoning issues) would be unwise. I sent a photo of a recent ultrasound as back-up. Had I the time, I would have sent a doctor's note but I didn't. I don't know if this curtailed the dual interview or not, but its a step that I took.
In the days leading up t... read complete review
