My same sex fiance and i came loaded for bear since we have a large age difference and this was my 2nd I129F . Tons of evidence. I prepped him on over 100 K1 interview i found on various sites. He is an actor so learning lines was easy. On the day of our interview appointment at 7:00 we arrived at the embassy at 6:30. We had to wait outside until they called for K1s and others at 7:00 The entry process was impressively organized and smooth. All the embassy employees were professional and supportive. After various checks for the appointment confirmation, security and the completeness of documents, we waited in a covered outdoor area. One note about Bogota: it seem this is one of the few locations where I as the petitioner was able to accompany him through the entire process, including up to the interview window itself.

Our journey may be a little different than yours. We had the medical done approximately a month _BEFORE_ the interview at the Embassy (I know that several people apparently have the medical exam, biometrics, and the interview all in the same week but we were not able to get our personal schedules to allow for this).
The biometrics appointment was scheduled for 7:30am on Tuesday.
If you're looking for the location for biometrics, don't search for ACS Bogota, but search for this instead:
Centro de Atencion al Solicitante (CAS) - Address: Ac. 26 #92-32, Bogotá, Colombia.
This location is very close to El Dorado airport in Bogota. We arrived very late (after 10pm) on Monday, so we chose to stay in a hotel close to the airport the first night (Hilton Garden Inn Bogota Airport), and then relocated to another hotel the next day (Wyndham Tryp Embassy) because it is significantly closer to the embassy.

Arrived for the interview at 7:30 for a 9:45 appointment and there was already a line. Entered the embassy at 7:45 and were finished by 10:00. My fiance has two children. They asked my Fiance where I lived multiple times, when I first visited her, about previous marriages, and asked her older daughter where I lived. Approved!

Mi cita para el proceso de visa K1 fue muy bueno y rpaido. Todo el proceso duro alrededor de 3 horas. Revisaron todos los documentos y gracias a Dios todo estaba en orden.
