Interview:

Context:
- No criminal history
- Petitioner divorced w/ kids
- Joint sponsor/co-sponsor for i134f
- No previous issues/denials at the border or for visas
- I did not study chemistry/physics or work in a high security clearance/federal job (Working or studying in these fields is usually a cause for AP or DS5535 at Montreal)

Interview time: January 6th, 8am
Arrived at 7:45
Let in at: 7:55
Left at 8:50

There was only 2 other people that came to the doors with me, we were able to stand on the inside of the first set of doors and not have to stand in the cold outside. A security guard came and asks for your appointment time and your passport, they have a list and they check off that you’re there. You’ll get your passport back and then you wait a few more minutes there.

Once they let you in someone else will take your passport, check your name off another list,... read complete review

My appointment was at 10:30 AM on October 31st in Montreal and I arrived at 10, I was the only one at the entrance and the security guards were very polite. Placed my items in the bins to have them go through a scanner similar to what airports hav, after that I was asked to place my watch, phone and headphones in the locker and got my purse and folder back. I was given a number with a small list of the papers I needed to get ready & took the elevator to the first floor. Once there I sat in the waiting room, only one other person was there at the time.It took about 5 minutes or so before I was called to the first window.
From there I was asked to provide :

- Passport
- 2 Passport Photos
- Birth certificate
- Affidavit of support (I-134)
- My fiancé's Tax returns for 2023
- Proof of petitioner's residence
- RCMP Background Check

She told me to sit back down in the waiting room to look if they had received my... read complete review

Please see Insta: @ggtambols for updates/questions!

You're scheduled for x time, but once you get in, there's multiple booths where people are doing their interview. I was #521 in queue and by the time I got inside the building, They were still at #512. Was inside for about an hour and my fiancé was waiting for me outside thinking it was only going to be 15 mins. They will not let your fiancé in and you won't have your phone to let them know when you're done hahah. The interview only took around 15 mins total, and the questions were really simple. They didn't even look at my proof of relationship!

* Note that I am a Canadian citizen, and we've been together 8 years at the time of interview.

Documents they looked at:
- Birth certificate
- Affidavit of support
- Letter of Approved petition
- Proof of petitioner's residence (we used his driver's license)
- Passport
- Police Report
- 2 Passpo... read complete review
