Very friendly staff, including the security.
I was allowed in early, and was done within about 45 minutes.
They're really good with "reading the room". I heard some people joke around and keep things light. However when it was my turn, it was straight to the point and only what was required. I prefer it that way, and so the staff was great with knowing where my comfort zone was.

Very quick.
Very friendly, all staff including security.
I was in and out within about 45 minutes. They also let me in early, which was surprising.
Very efficient location, I know there's some not so great reviews, but for my case everything was smooth with absolutely no hiccups.

Just a quick review of my K1 interview in at the US embassy in Montreal.

Arrived about 10 minutes early to my appointment. Entry and security was quite fast. Any electronics stays in a lockbox. After going up the elevator, I'm greeted by a lady asking for some general documentation.
- Canadian Passport and copy of passport page
- My long form Birth Certificate (Act of Birth in Canada)
- 2x Passport photos
- Police report
- Proof of US Embassy & document delivery payment

The lady then handed my a pamphlet and a number. I was informed that I'd be called to booths about 3 times. Once for verifying my informations, once for taking fingerprints, and then once for the actual interview.

Two booths and about 45 minutes later, I was called for my interview. Which only lasted about 5 minutes total.

Questions asked :
- Who is sponsoring you?
- What's your fiancé's phone number?
-... read complete review

Context:
- No criminal history
- Petitioner divorced w/ kids
- Joint sponsor/co-sponsor for i134f
- No previous issues/denials at the border or for visas
- I did not study chemistry/physics or work in a high security clearance/federal job (Working or studying in these fields is usually a cause for AP or DS5535 at Montreal)

Interview time: January 6th, 8am
Arrived at 7:45
Let in at: 7:55
Left at 8:50

There was only 2 other people that came to the doors with me, we were able to stand on the inside of the first set of doors and not have to stand in the cold outside. A security guard came and asks for your appointment time and your passport, they have a list and they check off that you’re there. You’ll get your passport back and then you wait a few more minutes there.

Once they let you in someone else will take your passport, check your name off another list,... read complete review
