2 wait from my scheduled interview till I got called up
The officer was nice and said what he had to say about my missing medical (every applicant was missing a medical because there's only 3 doctors in ALL of australia that do the medicals)

I did not have original documents for my previous marriage of my fiances former husband's Death certificate. Although the Divorce for myself was accepted I still needed the original Documents for the other 2 items.
On this basis I was given a condition No as and answer but once the documents were sent through in about 3 weeks got the Yes

Very easy and relaxed environment. Armed security was very relaxed and friendly. Australian government offices are more stressful!
Got fingerprints taken and asked basic questions about US partner such as how we met, what job he has and his date of birth. My K2's only got asked what they thought of US partner. Entire process took less than 1 hour.

We got to the consulate about 30 mins early, it was a bit hard to see since it was all boarded up. We had to wait outside shivering in the cold until they let us in small batches at a time. They asked if we had an appointment and marked off me and my fiance's names (we got permission for him to accompany me!) and gave us a stern warning about turning our phones off and recording being strictly forbidden.
At the first counter, I was asked for my passport, photos and DS-160 first, and then for my birth certificate and copies. She reassured me that I'd get the original back later. She asked if we've been married before and I said No, I missed the next thing she said and I thought it would be along the same vein so I said no, but turns out she was asking for the police reports, and I almost missed out on giving them oops. She then gave me the orange IMBRA card and... read complete review
