Hello forum! I've been reading here for a while, but today I decided to create an account and ask about my situation. I'm about to submit my I-751 waiver, and once I receive the extension letter, my plan is to travel for a couple of months. Will this cause any issues if I have the extension letter with me? I m thinking of traveling for 3 months, coming back to the U.S. for about a week or 10 days, and then going back for another 3 months. Could I run into problems every time I try to re-enter the U.S.? My idea is to post content from my trips on social media and live off that, as I plan to quit my job. Could this worsen my situation? I ve heard that CBP is lately reviewing social media, phones, etc. Would you recommend I apply for an I-131, or would that be an overreaction on my part? Thanks and I look forward to hearing your advice!

Hello All, My wonderful wife and I are adjusting off a tourist based visa. We've filed all relative forms I-130, I-131, I-485, and I-765. We submitted in Mid January and have received our NOA1 on all forms and have attended the biometrics appointment. We're waiting on EAD to approved first, with hopes of the Advance Parole to follow shortly thereafter. Given the general path of our journey, we are attending a music festival in early May and wanted to fly domestically vs. having to drive. Our attorney advised us not to fly. Why would there be any hesitation on their part? Nothing in our pasts that is questionable...Just curious on opinions. Thanks!!

So I am planning on traveling abroad in November/December but by then my condition green card is going to expire in 4/3 months (March). It is ok to travel internationally like that? Its it worth applying to get a Global Entry or that's going to be certainly denied?

So a while ago I went to the DMV to get a drivers license and they searched my GC up and it came out as a k1 holder or something? It wasn t clear what they said but they told me my status was wrong or hasn t been updated by the department of homeland security. I was wondering if I still can travel abroad since I have my GC (conditional) and it s a prof I ve been through the whole process and if stuff isn t updated is not my fault or I have to try to fix it first? Would I have any problem with immigration returning to the US? Thank you.

Hi everyone. I became an American Citizen in the end of Mar of this year. I applied for my passport at the end of Apr and just used conventional time because I wasn't planning to do an international trip this year. Unfortunately, my mom is sick and is at the hospital. Her situation is not good, but she has chances to get better. I booked a flight to next Friday and called the passport office to try to get an appointment to get an urgent passport. They just had an opening at the day I was traveling. I decided then, to apply for the expedite process, but the chances to receive it before my travel date is very low. Then, I'm thinking in travel just with my foreign passport and wait for my passport there. My husband is planning to travel there when he gets my passport (he is afraid that shipping the passport it may never get there). Anyway, do you think I could have a problem in doing this? I have read about that when you are an US citizen, you should travel with your American passport to leave the country. And some people said that would not be a big problem in traveling with a foreign passport, I just would need to have it to enter back. Thank you for your insights!
