Hi everyone i need your help with this, has anyone with past experience I travel to Cancun with an expired green card approval letter of extension and valid passport ever accounted a problem for entering Mexico the reason why I'm asking I did make my research I call the consulate and I got three different answers from three different people I just don't know what else to do at this point already purchased my ticket and should be flying soon any answer on this will be greatly appreciated

I actually ended up going to Puerto Rico instead just to be safe, but I found out that for Mexico if are on the list of countries that requires a visa they will not accept the extension letter you need to apply for the visa
