CFO Seminar Requirements

I want to change my name on my passport to my married name. I read that I have to get a CFO certificate as I'm married to foreigner. Upon checking on the CFO website and here on VJ, they require two valid ID's. My problem is that all of my ID's are in my maiden name. I didn't have time to change any of them after as I had left the Philippines after our wedding November 2016. Can I use my maiden name ID's and just present my marriage certificate? Or I have to get ID's under my married name? If so, I only know of NBI clearance to be the fastest I can get. Is there anything else I can get the soonest for identification?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Totally fine you IDs are in your maiden name.  Yes bring a copy of your marriage certificate and a CENOMAR.   Plus other documents.

There should be some helpful info here:

Thank you so much.

Wow!!! I didn't know there's a CFO branch in Pampanga. I might as well make my appointment there. It will be more convenient since I'll be traveling from Baguio.

For sure complete CFO at Clark.. much closer than traveling to Manila.

I agree. Plus, it's less traffic and I won't be dealing with Manila taxi drivers lol

It is always easy to change your surname from maiden to married. All you have to do is to present a marriage contract from PSA(formerly NSO). But if you have decided to change it back to your maiden name, it will require to file a motion to court in order to do so.

No true in her case.  She must also attend CFO to change her passport to her married name.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!
