Hello all,

we will have our interview here in Denver on the next Wednesday 11 of January.

Can someone tell me all documents should I prepare in advance in case they ask for?

Do I need do provide an affidavit of myself beside my husband?

February 12 will be 1 year that we filled our petition.

Please any help would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

You got the letter with the interview date from uscis, right? Take the things listed there and you're good to go. I'd focus on having a copy of your original packet and new proof of relationship, shared finances and address

good luck

I have the copy of the Original Packet, there weren't anything listed specific for me to bring.

they stated to bring more proof of relationship, but nothing specific. Thanks for you replay.

That's odd. My letter had a long list of things to bring (mostly things already submitted in the original packet) and I thought that was the official letter sent to everyone.

but yes, bring any new proof, and go for things that will establish you live together and share finances, everyday life, etc.

best of luck

Hi sintiaF!

I am also filing in Denver and have a pretty similar timeframe as yours. Our interview is scheduled for later this month so I am also putting together a binder with all forms, documents, evidences, etc.

I am not an expert but here is how I have it organized:

1 - USCIS forms + letters:

Copies of all forms initially submitted, letters received from USCIS including biometrics, NOA letters, EAD and AP. Do not forget the letter for the interview.

2 - Personal documents:

both hubby's and mine birth certificates, passports, SS cards, drivers licenses, etc.

3- evidences of relationship:

3.1 - submitted evidences. Copies of utility bill, health insurance cards with both names, joint bank account, photos.

3.2 - updated evidences. including new shared membership at gym, updated joint bank account, my name as beneficiary in hubby's insurance, November's vacation trip itinerary with photos and tickets.

It's probably too much but I feel like I'd rather have too much than not enough.

Best of luck in your interview!!!

Let me know how it goes.
