221G Submitted documents how long now

I submitted 221g joint sponsor documents.we submit on 1st dec 2016 and now its 10 dec .we did not see any case update .while submitting documents coriour office wrote 1 digit wrong (it was ISL2015 but he wrote ISL2016 rest the case same)case number on my CGI form. But my UStraveldocs UID number and passport number and name is righton submission form . Do u guyes think thats why embassy cant find my case and confused these documents belongs to whose case.and pending there .i also talk UStraveldocs officers they said u dont need to worry they will find case by ur passport number and ur USTRAVELDOCS UID number.

Here on vj member said holidays coming thats why embassy busy, but holidays have still 2 weeks to go.i sent 2 email in past diffrent days but no reply.i also mention suitition in email,i also send fax.also i know when u sent documents it took 3,4 day to attached with ur case and then ur case creation change And case update so u must know they recive ur documents and start reviewing.

Do u guys suggest i should wait a bit more or should i send new joint sponsor package to embassy?its 10 days nothing hapen

Timeline

Thanksgiving is a holiday too, and some embassy staff may be in the USA from before Thanksgiving to Christmas.

Unless they actually told you they cannot find your case, I would not worry at all; it has been less than two weeks since you submitted the doc, and even at the best time of year, it can take two weeks for them to get to it and process it.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
