The time between submitting DS-260 and the interview

Hi,

I submitted the DS-260 form on 1 september and i have a low case number but they didn't schedule an interview for me yet, is it normal or do i have to contact them about my case,

It takes them 2-3 months to process the DS260 form (the processing includes preliminary background checks etc), and they do not schedule interviews until the have finished processing. So your form will probably only be finished processing sometime in November, then you should hopefully get into the early December scheduling round, which will be for February interviews. This is my estimate - could be a month either side of Feb.
