how to answer I-134 question # 7 re: encumbrances

Hi every one,

I am currently completing my I- 134 form, affidavit of support but i dont know what to put on the question on number 7 regarding real state value. The question exactly goes like this....

With mortgage or other encumbrance(s )amounting to: $ _______????? what do i put?? are they asking how much more i owe minus from the total value of my house?? please let me know what ya all put in there!!!

And yes, you are right, it's the total value of the house minus how much you owe on the mortgage.

Please help? I have my K1 visa interview in London soon and I want know, Do I need to show anything with the I 134 form - Affidavit of support?

My Fiancee in US has completed a I 134 form, but we not sure if I need to show any supporting information with this form, Please advise me?

Yes, you have to have proofs just in case they ask for it. It depends on what he claims he has in the I 134 forms. Better be safe than sorry.
