Hello

I sent cashier check for IV fee by mail one month ago. And bank said it was cashed 3 weeks ago. However on the website it still shows PAY NOW.

I called NVC but they don't have an idea and just saying 1 month is really long and it should show PAID.

Anybody else waited that much after sending the fee??

Did you send the IV Fee invoice along with your cashier's check?

Hi Simulation, I am really sorry to hear that yes I am the one who faced this issue and never resolved for me. here is what happened for my case.

1) I got an email from NVC to pay the Fee for both AOS & IV and on the site I never got an option to pay because that is the time NVC is having some technical issues and I made a mistake not waiting and asked so many people and people who sent the Money Order their fee's were accepted in 7 days then I thought I can also send the Money Order.

2) I took a Money Order for the amount $445 for both AOS & IV and sent it to St. Louis Address on May 21st and that is the moment things went really bad.

3)After a week I checked with the Bank and they said the Money Order was cashed by DOS and they gave me a Notarized copy of screen shots of the front and back of my check.

4)I was calling NVC every other day and asking what is the status and nope no help the NVC says the manual payment is an different department so they don't have any idea. and they suggested me to send an email of the Payment receipt that I got form the Bank and I emailed that Receipt on May 27th.

5) Time passed by but still no payment posted and it passed month and I was calling NVC every other day and one fine day one representative told me that we can't give you any estimated time when the payment issue will be resolved and she said we need to investigate your money order where it was misplaced and I asked her that I have the online access to pay the fee can I pay the fee and ask for a refund and she said YES you can pay online and send an email to NVC that you payment is misplaced and request for a refund and I decided let's do it.

6)on July 10th I made the online payment and completed the DS-260 and by the way I sent all my AOS & IV documents while the fee problem is still going on and in the AOS &IV documents I included the Fee Payment Receipt with a cover letter stating that the payment is lost.

I sent an email to NVC for the refund I am not sure whether the DOS will give my hard earned money back or not its all in the hands of DOS :)

FINALLY I don't know what suggestion I can give you buddy :)

I hope the above information will help you and good luck.
