Wanted to get some help my application is at NVC awaiting a case number but my daughter's is still at USCIS how would my husband get her file looked at there so when they are doing mine hers would be also she is 6 and is his step daughter he filed for her in April this year please help thanks also had application has my case number on it i don't want mine processed and her is still there any information what to do would be great thanks

Well, you can delay your case by not sending back the next set of documents for up to a year.

When he send your daughter's docs, did you send a cover letter explaining the situation and giving your case number? If not, definitely call them, request a second tier rep and ask them to expedite the daughter's case based on mom's already being at NVC.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
