Hi guys! So I am a dv 2015 green card winner. Because my husband's medical results weren't ready in time, he missed out. I have activated my green card and returned to my country as I am not able to get employment at 7 months pregnancy. I also have a three year old. Can I petition for my spouse from Kenya so we can be on the waiting list considering the process takes 2 years? I intend to move permanently mid next year after my child is born and hopefully able to go to daycare as I work.

Yes, you can send your I-130 petition while you're in Kenya. Just make sure you maintain your permanent residency (don't stay out of the country for more than 1 year).

So I should put my Kenyan address?

Yes, you can put your Kenyan address. You just need to establish your domicile in the US before your husband immigrates. However, it might be best to put a US mailing address since mail from USCIS might get lost when it's sent abroad.

Also, be sure to attach the G-1145 so you will receive e-mail updates in case you don't receive the letters from USCIS.
