I-864 paperwork help

Hello, I have gone to the US embassy here in Seoul and did our interview for my wifes IR-1 visa.

Sadly I had the wrong tax papers from my parents and so I will need to mail that to them.

They said they were going to email me with a list of the paperwork I need to send and how to do so.

So my question for that is how long will it take to get that email. It has been 2 weeks from today.

Second concern is...

I filled out my I-864 and gave it to them. On it I paid $0 on taxes

My mom, the only joint sponsor, filled out an I-864 because we do not live together.

As I said I had the wrong tax paper so on her I-864 it said she made $90,000.

But on her W2 it is only $21,000.

So now my dad needs to join as a joint sponsor to bring it above the poverty line.

2nd question

At the interview I believe the employee said my dad will need to fill out an I-864A. Is that because he lives with my mom or did I mishear him?

and when my dad joins all the original I-864's, I and my mom, turned in will need to be changed, will they not worry about that?

I know the only paperwork I will need to send in is the I-864a and the W2. So I'd like to get it ready so when I get the email I can send it right away.

Thank you very much for your time and helping me. It's greatly appreciated!

hi

no, you will need to redo your mom's as well, he signs the i864A, but the adding of income is on your mom's i864

she will write her income, and then there is a place where she puts your dad's income and they add them up, it should be the same amount that they declared taxes

plus both of their w2s
