K1 form filling help?

Hi,

So I'm busy completing all the forms and evidence needed for the petiton and then I'll be sending it to my fiance in the U.S and he'll send them on from there but I have a few questions I hope someone could just help me with;

1. If a question is none or n/a should I leave it blank or fill it with none or n/a? The instruction sheet on the USCIS website says the leave the space blank but I've read people have had forms returned because they wanted none or n/a filled in?

2. The question asking if you've been to the U.S before, I have but I'm not currently there. Should I still fill in the information for my passport? for the last time I visited. It was earlier this year,

3. Since I'm completing the forms and signing my parts here in the U.K then sending them for my fiance to sign and finish in the U.S should I put the date in advance for the same day he will sign or date mine for the day I sign then his will be a few days later when he signs?

1. All immigration forms used to say don't leave anything blank so maybe some old habits are still being used. They changed...something to do with the barcodes they generate now I think. Follow the USCIS instructions for each form. I-129F says leave it blank if no answer. Other forms may say different. Go with the real instructions each time.

2. Are you talking about the question that says "if your fiancé is currently in the US, complete the following"?

If you are not currently in the US, then skip 15 a b c d etc. The "if" part of the question rules you out from going any further with #15.

3. They don't have to have the same date. You could do his with a future date. You could save the file and email it as an attachment and let him add the date and print/sign his forms. Then they would be on 8.5x11 paper instead of A4. The petition is his to complete, not yours, so US sized paper wouldn't be a bad thing.

For the G325a there is one section (I believe it is the previous spouses section) that says "if none so state" in which case you would write "none" if that is the answer.

For everything else, if the question/answer does not apply, you leave it blank.

For the i-129f there is an instruction PDF on the same webpage as the form itself, read this carefully, I am pretty certain it states on there to leave items blank if not applicable, but read through to confirm.

I believe cases where people have received RFE's are in relation to my first comment regarding the G325a
