If my case number appears in bullet in for January , when should I expect the email from KCC?

Or there may be no such mail?

The notifications seem to be late this month. Should be out next week (assuming you submitted your DS260 in time for KCC to have finished processing it). All the email does is tell you that your page has been updated (same page that you checked for the letter notifying you of selection) - the page will have your interview details on. You don't need the email ti check the page of course just your original confirmation number. The emails do end up in spam folders occasionally. Edited November 23, 2014 by SusieQQQ

another question please

If me and my wife are applying , I am the main applicant and she is accompanying me

If her documents are not complete, can this affect the case as whole ? or can she get disqualified and I get a visa?

All applicants have to present the required documents to get a visa. The principal has to present more eg evidence of education or work experience requirement, but all adults need birth certificate, medicals, police etc. If she does not provide all she won't get a visa. And yes you can get a visa even if she is denied one as long as you are principal applicant ; if the principal applicant is denied however none of the derivatives can get a visa.
