Hi guys,my wife called Nvc today but there was no responses,she said the phone rang more than 30mins but no one answer the phone.so this evening our case status changed,this is what it says""ON OCTOBER 20 ,WE SHIPPED THIS APPROVED OR RE-AFFIRMED CASE TO DEPARTMENT OF STATE FOR VISA PROCESSING,FOR MORE INFORMATION,PLEASE CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY.please guys trow more light on this,make me understand.thanks

You must mean she called USCIS. They reaffirmed your case and now its being sent to NVC for processing to be sent back to the embassy for your 2nd interview. Congratulations.

no I have not had any interview before,I just received my noa2,she called the nvc to know if they have received our case but no one answer the phone.so I checked our case later and the status Changed to that (above)

It means your petition is approved and been shipped to NVC for futher processing. Its going to take couple of weeks for NVC to receive it and generate your case number, IIN and AOS bill. You can start calling NVC after 2weeks to ask if they have received your petition. I'll also urge you to read the NVC wiki created by Saylin here:

The wiki will be of great help to you during this process. Good lurk with the rest of the journey.

***To speak with an NVC rep, you have to keep dialing and when you finally get thru, you should be prepared to be on hold from maybe 18mins to 1hour before a rep can talk to you. You have to wait till it gets to your turn because millions of people are calling that number from all over the world***

Sorry I misunderstood. Yes that's the letter after they ship your approved petition. Just read what ECOS4ever posted very good reading and you should be following the NVC filers thread also.

thanks guys for ur responses,I got my approval since on 29th Sept 2014 and my wife has been calling Nvc but no one has answer the phone,its painful.

Unfortunately her and a million others are all calling. Busy is usually. She should try either when they first open at 7am or around 11pm EDT. They stay open until midnight EDT.
