14 mths later Case Complete & at the Embassy in Kingston

Finally, confirmed today after we were told last week. The man said it was out of the NVC in Kingston at the embassy but with the issues with the global system, updates were gonna be slower than normal. He said not to worry about the CEAC portal not changing and to await the CC email ina few days.

Thank God...now on to stage 3. NOA1 since May 2013 and just getting here smh

Correction, it seems to have been updated after hubby spoke to them earlier today. It now says READY!

No, just ready and at the embassy in Kingston. Interview to be scheduled but we had asked for an expedite due to the length of time. Awaiting the response of the embassy on the expedite.

Not trying to be funny, but you were married in August, I would wait until after wedding anniversary for interview. If you have ben married two years, you are issued a 10 yr card and do not have to Remove Conditions. Just something to think about, since you applied for expedite.

Thanks. Even if we do the interview before August 10th which is highly unlikely at this time, I wouldn't enter until after that date which means I would still get it at the POE. Thanks for the advice though

how u know your case file is in Kingston? our CC is 16/7/14, but the lady at nvc said it was there waiting to ship out, we got the email after but no interview date or anything to say its in Kingston?

Hi there

Hubby spoke back to the supervisor and was told again that because of our expedite request it was sent to Kingston. The tier 3 supervisor had said so the week before that it would be expedited and then it was confirmed by another agent that it was already in Kingston.

We got the 08/08 hubby's birthday and lucky number 08 which is two days before our anniversary. Given that they are squeezing us in, I was not going to rock the boat to tell them to give me another date lol. Additionally, hubby returns the 17th so we are hoping to be approved and have the visa in hand by then so I can return with him and POE would be MIAMI.
