Comments : WAS A LONG WINDED PROCESS WITH VARIOUS TRIPS BACK AND FORTH BEFORE HAND, AND ALSO A MEDICAL EXAMINATION IN LONDON, ON A SEPARATE DATE FROM MY EMBASSY APPOINTMENT OF COURSE SO HAD TO MAKE TWO TRIPS TO LONDON. ALSO MAKE SURE YOUR PASSPORT IS IN MINT CONDITION AS I HAD TO GET A NEW ONE BEFORE THEY WOULD ISSUE MY VISA AS THERE WAS A BIT OF WATER DAMAGE TO THE PAGES

Comments : MAKE SURE A FEW MONTHS BEFORE YOU SEND EVIDENCE TO GET A JOINT BANK ACCOUNT OR PUT EACH OTHER ON EACH OTHERS BANK ACCOUNT (EACH HAVE A CARD AND ACCESS TO BOTH)
IT WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF HASSLE LATER ON AS THEY MAINLY WANT MONEY TIES ETC.

WE GOT A REQUEST FOR MORE EVIDENCE BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE PROPERTY, A CAR, LOANS, MORTGAGE, CREDIT CARDS, KIDS ETC, SO WE HAVN'T FELT THE NEED FOR A JOINT BANK ACCOUNT, BUT THAT IS WHAT THEY WANTED SO WE WENT TO THE BANK AND GOT ADDED TO EACH OTHERS ACCOUNTS, WE GOT THE BANK TO WRITE A LETTER BASICALLY CONFIRMING THIS AND THEY NOTARIZED IT. WE SENT THIS INFORMATION BACK ON DEC 22 2010 AND I RECEIVED THE 10 YEAR GREEN CARD ON JAN 27 2011. SO THE MONEY THING IS OBVIOUSLY THE DECIDING FACTOR!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
