Well, we have an interview set. Hopefully all will go well and we'll be able to get an approval date soon!

Interview was very quick. We went in (through the airport like security). Then checked in at the main desk and then went and waited in the appointment room. We weren't in there too long before we were called back. She went over the questions on the form and then said that he was approved. It took maybe about 15-20 minutes. (We did have a huge bag full of documents if she needed any). All in all a great experience! Hopefully he will get his card in the mail soon!

6/17: Finally got together about an inch more information of pictures, accounts, etc. and sent them in! Should be there Thursday. We'll see if that is enough. If not, they should just talk to my parents, they of all people know that we are really married and for the right reasons. So fingers crossed!! Package received by 8am on Thursday!!!! Now we are just waiting to hear back!!!

Event Description

Embassy Review : The wait was long, about 1 1/2 hours. First, went to the window and the lady looked through the papers to make sure that they were all there. Then that's when the 1 1/2 wait occured. The consulate was late, but was called in quickly once he arrived. He really only asked a couple of questions, like how we met my fiancee's name, her occupation, my occupation, and where she lives. He didn't look at any of the extra photos brought. Then the interview was over and said I could come by in 4 business days to pick it up. Overall pretty good.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
