Comments : Wow, how the time has flown by! :) We bought a house in September 2006, I've been working since September 2005 at a small company which I love, we've found, joined and become active in a wonderful, caring church, and married life is going great!

Next stop in the process: lifting conditions on the green card, and contemplating citizenship.

Comments : Interview was held locally (Roanoke, VA). Only asked for 2005 tax returns & Kelli's most recent pay stub (not full 2 months).

We were also asked for proof of *my* employment (brought copy of employment contract and last few pay stubs) - was not really expecting this so be aware you may get asked this.

Had to return to Charleston again, the I-485 biometrics had been lost and needed to be re-taken. Drove about a 7 hour round trip through torrential downpour and thunderstorms (with no working cabin blower in the car! Argh!) to spend the 5 minutes needed to take a fingerprint and photo. Green card arrived shortly after (date is approximate as I filled this in some time after the event.)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
