Had to contact NVC to get an update on whether they had received the case. Emailed on 18 November, was given a Case # and told it was sent to the consulate on 19 November. NVC case status site says consulate received on 11/13, somehow.
1/28/2025: Interview completed but more forms requested to be sent to consulate. No follow-up interview necessary. Documents were translated official birth certificate and a New Zealand Visa Vetting Request--different from the similar document we requested before the interview.
2/19/2025: After translating and certifying the translation, the birth certificate took two days to get to the consulate. The NZ Visa Vetting Request took about a week for the beneficiary to receive a confirmation email from NZ Police confirming their request, after which it was sent to the Auckland consulate on 2/09/2025. On 2/14/2025 our case status was adjusted to "Approved" on the NVC case checker website. On 2/18/2025 it was "Issued", and the beneficiary received an email the following day confirming the delivery date for the visa package as 2/20/2025. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
