Hi! Congratulations on getting your interview date! We are still waiting for ours (we are also in Costa Rica). I am wondering if you have any helpful advice for the medical appointments. Thanks! :)

Hi! Thank you! Once we got our interview date we called the number they provided for Clinica America. They provided the Whatsapp contact for the secretary for the doctors that do the physicals. Once you have that scheduled you can call and make an appointment at least 48hrs prior to the physical for the blood test, urine test, and x-ray. My husband doesnt have access to his vaccine card from childhood so we schedule him to get several of the vaccines prior - hep B, influenza, and tetanus. We were told the doctor will check him out to see if he needs any others at the appointment. Hope that helps!

How long did you wait for the interview letter date after being documentarily qualified in NVC? And if there is no vaccination records, are the vaccinations needed to administer available in clinica americana? what is the total price? And is the covid vaccine available in clinica americana also? Thank you

We received the interview letter on Jun 15th, which is just over a month from when we were DQ'd by NVC. The vaccinations are available at Clinica Americana (not sure about Covid), but the Dr will assess which ones are needed. My husband hasn't had his medical exam yet so I'm not positive how they decide which are needed. You can get the Covid vaccines for free through Caja.

Thank you. Did he get his covid shot already before medical exam? And when is your interview date? Thank you again.

Yes, you need at least 2 doses so better to get now

Hi how was the medical exam regarding the unavailable vaccine card from childhood? What vaccines did they give and what is the total cost for the vaccine?
