Hi! Have you finished the process with NVC or received an interview date yet? Thank you!

Hi there. Not yet, we are still in the process of submitting all the documents.

Hi, did you get your interview letter from US Embassy in Costa Rica?

Hi, no we haven't received it yet. It's been a little over 2 weeks since we submitted all the documents to NVC.

Hi, do you have updates if you received letter from the us embassy? Thank you

Hi, I received an email yesterday that our case is documentarily qualified, we’re still waiting on the interview letter.

HI! I noticed we were documentarily qualified on the same date. I wonder if we would get the same interview date as well.

Hi there! We’ll see, let me know when you get your letter. I have no idea when to expect it. Some timelines I follow only waited 2 weeks, others waited over 2 months.

Yay!!! Congrats on getting your interview date!

Thank you! I’m sure yours is coming soon.

Congratulations!! I got DQ August 18 hopefully to have my interview date soon.

Hi, how did your interview go? We were just scheduled for January.

Hi! It was good, my husband’s visa was approved! They only asked my husband some basic questions about our relationship and marriage and to see some pictures of us, then they took his fingerprints and told him the visa will be sent in about 2 weeks. It was quick and easy!
Congrats on getting your interview date- good luck!

Yay!!! Congratulations!!! I don’t want to bug you, I know you are busy finally living life, lol - but if you get a chance can you tell me if you attended with your husband? I was planning to go with my husband for moral support but they scheduled our interview at the same time my daughter is having a high risk c-section and the baby may need surgery when he’s delivered so I can’t leave her. I’m just hoping it won’t be an issue if I’m not there.

Thanks! I went to the embassy with my husband but they didn’t let me in, I had to wait outside.

Oh no, I’m sorry you had to wait outside! I would be so nervous. I’m so glad all went well for you both ?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
