When did you starting completing the DS-160? I received our case number and invoice ID. Did you wait until you received the NVC notice by e-mail or regular mail? Any information you can share is greatly appreciated.

I completed the DS-160 when it was ready in the embassy I know it can take a while to fill out so you can start filling it out once you’re case is in transit the only thing is you have 30 days before it deletes the info and you have to start over.

I have a follow-up question. I checked the following website: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=NIV for the latest update about our case. It says " Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://nvc.state.gov/interview For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV." Then I went to the https://www.ustraveldocs.com/do/ to pay the fee and schedule an interview. However, this message appears: "Did a petitioner file a I-129F Fiance(e) Visa Petition on your behalf and have you now received a notice from the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo confirming that your case file was received by that office and that you may now schedule your Fiance(e) Visa appointment? " We have not received anything by mail or e-mail. Should we continue to the next step? Did you receive a notification from the embassy before paying the fee? How were you notified that you could move forward? What was your experience?

No I paid the fee without the notification and once I paid 24 hrs later I received the email to be able to schedule the interview

Hello I am looking for your help. I am currently awaiting my NOA2 I see that you got your interview and hopefully it was approved for you. Once you got the NOA2 how long did you wait to complete the DS 160 form? and the affidavit of support? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Cause this is where I am stuck right now my case is ready for interview but I customer service is telling me to wait for further instructions from embassy. Please please help

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
