Hello,
Congratulations on your approval!
How were you able to get your case pushed through the NVC so quickly?? 2.5 months from approval to consulate is very good going based off the current timelines! Is there any advice you could give me? I am in a very urgent situation and any help to get the case pushed through would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!!

Hi there. Thank you for your comments. Honestly, I have no idea why my case passed the NVC quickly. I didn't use an immigration lawyer or join the lawsuit. I guess I was just lucky... Hope your case will be transferred to the consulate anytime soon.

Thanks for the response. What I would do to get an interview date already. All the best!

Hello. I hope you don't mind answering another question. I just received notice that our K1 package has been sent from the NVC to the US Consulate in London (very happy about this!!).
When you received the letter to schedule your interviews, did you receive an email or a physical letter? Thanks again for your help!

Congratulations! It won't be long to receive K1 visa then! :) Actually, I didn't receive the letter at all. After I saw my case status changed to "Ready" in CEAC, I proceeded to book medical exam, files DS-160 and book an interview. I'm not sure if this was the right way to do... but it worked out somehow.

Ok that's awesome. It was my understanding that you need to bring this letter to the medical and interview. Great to know. Were there plenty of available dates close to the time of CEAC saying "Ready"?
Thanks again for your replies. Very helpful!

Oh sorry for the confusion, I meant the letter from the Embassy which I didn't receive. I did receive a hard copy letter from NVC by post confirming my case was transferred to the Consulate.

There were good enough dates available,

Ah ok I see. I received that notification of my case being transferred to the consulate via email just yesterday. I will make sure my fiance has that with her for the interviews then. Will definitely keep an eye on the CEAC case status thing. We've got our wedding planned for October 16th so its coming down to the wire lol

I submitted the hard copy letter at the medical exam, but I'm not sure if a print out of of the email could do. The letter arrived by post after almost a month of receiving it by email. Maybe it's better to call the medical exam and ask them if they accept the print out? Hope everything will work out fine for you! Good luck!

Yeah thats a good idea! Thanks for your help!

One more question, apologies for so many. Just to be clear, the letter you handed in at your medical was from the NVC confirming that you should go ahead and schedule your interviews? Or was it a letter confirming that your case was being sent to the consulate? Thanks again!

It was a letter from NVC stating the case was forwarded to Consulate and Consulate would contact you when they are ready to process your case. It didn't say that I should go ahead and schedule interview.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
