Hey Kennedie, congrats on your approval! I had a question I was hoping you could answer.. did your fiance schedule the interview? Or did the US Embassy schedule it for him?
Kennedie on 2021-04-26 said:
Thank you! The embassy scheduled it. I got an email with all of the instructions and an interview date about a month out!
Mmd82 on 2021-04-26 said:
Fingers crossed it will be smooth. What a nerve wracking process
Kennedie on 2021-04-26 said:
Thank you! Agreed. A long time coming!

Congratulations! I am so glad that I decided to get in as I had the same question. What a nerve wracking experience.
Good luck on your interview!

Congratulations! Question, did you expedite your case at all?
Kennedie on 2021-04-30 said:
No I did not!
Mmd82 on 2021-04-30 said:
How does one expedite their request👀
Kennedie on 2021-04-30 said:
You can send an email to the NVC! And ask for an expedite. You have to have a really strong reason. Some of the reasons are medical/health problems, financial hardship/emotional hardship etc.
Mmd82 on 2021-04-30 said:
Ahhh ok. Got it. Yes I think we all need to elevate for emotional hardship lol

I have another question. Did you guys do the fingerprints prior to the embassy scheduling your appointment? I scheduled the fingerprints for my fiancé on the 19th of April and he already got it done, but we have not gotten an assigned day for our interview yet. Such a nerve wracking experience.
Mmd82 on 2021-04-30 said:
I did not know that. And I haven't gotten to Noa2 yet
Kennedie on 2021-04-30 said:
I heard that you are able to do them before the interview and it shouldn’t be a problem! We waited until we had interview date.

Thank you

How did your interview go today?
Kennedie on 2021-05-21 said:
Great! We got approved! And it’s already issued! Super fast.
Luis & Wendy on 2021-05-22 said:
Omg! Congratulations!!! We have not gotten our interview yet. Did you go to the interview with your fiancé? What type of questions did they ask? What ever you remember.... documents etc.
Mmd82 on 2021-05-28 said:
So exciting! Congrats! Hopefully he will come soon!

Do you remember when you submitted your ds160? Was it when you were in transit to the embassy? Or did you wait until you/your fiance receive communication from the embassy?
Luis & Wendy on 2021-07-23 said:
I printed it as soon as I completed the form. You will need it for the interview and the buró metrics, vaccine, etc. you should be able to reprint it
Mmd82 on 2021-07-23 said:
But when did you fill out the form? Was it as soon as went in transit to the embassy? Or did you wait until you received communication from embassy telling you what to do
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
