Now the embassy/ consulate is the one setting the interview appointments and the fee has to be paid at the time you do the fingerprints. Let me look for the video. Monica Hill on 2021-04-01 said:I called this morning about not receiving a welcome letter from the NVC. NVC stated that I wouldn't receive anything from them only the consulate/embassy. But she stated that Santo Domingo isn't receiving and cases at this time, once they do I would receive an email. She stated at this time there is nothing to do.

Well, I just wanted to keep you updated on the information I received. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to visit the DR again to see my finance because he would be here soon. I made 3 trips last year and as you know it's expensive. But it looks like I have to take another vacation there, since I have know idea when this process will be over. smh
