Hi there! Your timeline is very fast! Do you get any expedite?
Hi! No I didn't expedite anything! I'm hoping the fast processing will continue for the rest of the K1 journey :)
Good for you!
Was there anything that you did between NoA1 and NoA2? Like calling uscis?
I didn't do anything, just waited patiently. I was going to call USCIS if I didn't receive my NOA2 but it arrived earlier than the estimated time
Hello, I see your EAD biometrics appt was 6/30/22. And approval same day. So do they tell you right then your EAD is approved?
Yes it was approved same day
Hi there, I noticed you wrote that you received the I-751 approval on 01/16/2026 but was it automatic after receiving the extension and while waiting for N-400 notice of interview? So no interview necessary for you? I am in the same boat. Waiting on I-751 and N-400 dual interview (if there will be such dual interview).
Hi, no interview was needed for the I-751. I’m not sure what you mean by automatic, because it took over a year to process, but still they approved the lifting conditions without requiring an interview. The case statuses went from “We received your application” to “We are actively reviewing your petition” to “Your case was approved”. We did apply for N-400 a year after I-751 had been pending so I truly believe filing for N-400 sped the I-751 decision along.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
