Embassy Review : Hey all! Husband got approved today (yay!!!!!) I will upload the review to my timeline so people can find it later but it basically went like everyone says - super easy and straightforward! We are super lucky and I currently live in the UK so haven't had to be apart during this ordeal, but thinking of every single one of you still waiting!

-He arrived at 10:30am for 11am appt - said it was like a ghost town and he didn't know if he was in the right place!
-They only asked for following paperwork (we literally packed every single thing we've submitted to them):
His birth certificate
Our marriage cert
His passport
Police check
2x US sized passport photos
-They only asked him 2 questions:
Where is your wife currently? (UK)
Where do you want to move once you go to the US?
-They told him he was approved!
Rating : Very Good

congratulations! quick question about the police check, where exactly do you request it and does it have a expiry date from the moment you receive it? thank you

Hey! You request the police certificate for the UK from ACRO.police.uk! throughout the green card process it has to be less than a year old - the last time you'll need it is when you go to your green card interview at the embassy in London (you will need to bring the certificate there). Ours was 10 months old when my husband went to his interview and that was fine!
