Embassy Review : Thank God, I got through this whole visa process!
My interview was at 8am, I got to the Embassy about 7:45.
I was 3rd in line, and after about half an hour I handed in all my documents, I was so amazingly nervous, as i thought I was going to be denied, due to a caution I got 4 years ago, for theft. When I was eventually called for my interview, I was kind of all over the place, the officer told, me that it did not matter about my arrest. The fuss seemed mostly to do with Tax returns, I submitted a joint sponsor, at that moment. However we had a lawyer file the i864, and he calculated her yearly income, to more then what was actually reflected on the tax return by almost $10,000 My husband asked me to cross it out, but I was so nervous i forgot. Anyway he approved it all. I got a text message to say my us embassy package will be delievered tomorow, however Im worried, that they may have discovered my error, and denied me, and just sent my passport, as it seems so fast. The officer told me 3-5 working days. I guess it will all become real tomorow!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
