Comments : We had an interview date for Wiremu's visa on September 16, 2020. However, we are still waiting on the I-130's for our 3 adopted children to be processed, so we are holding my husband's interview at Auckland until USCIS sends my children's files to the Auckland consulate. We've made requests for explaination for the extensive delays, because my kids files are way outside the expected timeframe, but the NBC has not responded to those requests in the expected timeframes.

Hi guys! Did you ever hear anything back from the NVC?

Still waiting for them to approve the police report that the consulate uploaded on June 11. It's the final piece, so this extreme delay is annoying...

Dang, that sucks! Have you tried calling the NVC to see what is happening?

Not yet, but it's on my list to do this week...

So my husband and my adopted children's files are actually seperate, husband's file is waiting at consulate in Auckland. We've sent requests to the NBC via a Level 2 call center rep (on Nov 13, 2020) and via our congressman in early November. In conversations with the Level 2 rep, my kids' files have been on the same person's desk since 2 November. Getting my kids files finished has been horrible. They are extremely outside their internal expected processing timeline...

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
