Congrats

Thank you Julie! Hoping your time goes faster than mine☺ï¸. Those were the longest 6 weeks of my life( granted I’ve been on the island since June 😂)

Thanks for the faster wishes. I wish you the best

Good luck with your interview today

Thank you @Megan2182, we were approved! :)

Congratulations 🎊🎈

What kind of questions did they ask. I am si happy for you

Yaayyy

Thank you! & they were all simple and straight forward questions.
How long have we known each other?
Has he traveled to the US or any country?
Confirmed his kids names and asked Will they be joining us at a later date?
Is it our first marriage?
If and where do I work.
How often do I travel to the Dominican Republic?
Where do I stay when I come to the country?
Who does the majority of the cooking?
What’s my favorite meal that he cooks?
& the pre screening asked if he had a job and where
The only extra paper from my binder they asked for, was the kids birth certificates! Still recommend taking everything just in case.

Great thanks for information

Congrats!! Did they tell you approximate amount of days visa would be ready by?

Thank you! Yes they said about 15 days. Though I checked my case status yesterday and it says issued and that it should be ready within 10 “working†days.

Update passport is ready to be picked up! :)

Wow fast

Omg…SO AWESOME!!! Congratulations!!!

Thank you.

Hi, did you expedite your i-485 case by chance? If so, what were your reasons behind it (If you dont mind me asking)?

Hey Kmulvany97, no expedite. Philadelphia is just moving really fast! In this AOS group Im in, someone submitted end of December and the day after her biometrics she got her interview scheduled for the end of March.
My case took a little longer because I started in NJ, which I hear is averaging 5 to 6 months. Two weeks after changing my address I got my interview scheduled :)
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
