Comments : I was given a 221(g) blue slip* at the interview, the supplementary documents arrived at the Consulate on 18th Feb.

24th Feb, CEAC status changed from 'refused' to 'ready'
26th Feb, CEAC status changed to 'Application Received' and switched to non-immigrant visa
27th Feb, CEAC status: 'Administrative Processing'
28th Feb, CEAC status: 'Issued'

*Noted I received Packet 3 in December 2019, so I prepared my fiancé's 1040 tax form from 2018. The officer requested the 2019 one, but my fiancé hasn't filed his 1040 for 2019 at the time of the interview. I sent his W2s from 2019, and it seems to have satisfied the Consulate's requirements.

Congratulation! Thanks for the comments, esp. on the consular officer's request on 2019 tax return. I am glad that you can satisfy them with the 2019 W2.

Thank you! It was such a lengthy process, but glad that I finally got the visa! Good luck to you and your fiancé too! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, not that I’m an expert but I understand how frustrating it can be, and it’ll be nice to share the experience!

Vivk, We are waiting for package 4. We would really appreciate it if you can share your interview experience and the questions they asked. Also like to know how do you demonstrate your evidence of relationship. Thank you.

Thank you for the comment, we are waiting for packet 3 to arrive, but I haven't my 2019 tax return yet, I'm glad you shared!

Hi there, just wondering if you answer a question for relating to the K1 process in HK, as we just had our case transferred from another embassy. We have already received and returned the Packet 3. My question is regarding the visa interview. Did you schedule yours on ustraveldocs.com or did the Consulate assign you an interview date?

Hi Vivk! Congrats on your Greencard! I have filed for AOS in San Francisco as well after K1 process, in feb 2020. Question; did you expedite your case or have any other ideas on how come you have got your greencard already? I'm trying not to compare but it's so hard not to! Cheers, Puck

Hi Puck! Thanks for reaching out! I did not expedite the case, I don't believe there's an option for it but don't quote me on that. I understand your frustration and am sorry you haven't heard anything back yet. I did submit a very thorough application, I did not get a NOA for any missing documents/ evidence.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
