Congratulations on getting an interview date! Did you guys expedite your case at all? Were you able to schedule an appointment for your medical?

Thanks! We did not expedite, I just kept logging on every day to see if any appointments had opened up and got lucky! Have not scheduled the medical just yet, waiting on my husbands police report to get back before I call, but that should be soon!

So, were you able to just choose a date yourself on the website or did the NVC send you a letter to invite you to schedule it? We DQ'ed but we are slightly confused by this whole thing.

I chose a date on the website. I was totally confused too, I completely understand!

When did you guys DQ?

Sorry I’m not 100% on all the terminology, it’s so confusing to keep straight. Documents Qualified - is this where you submit your supporting docs online before scheduling the interview?

Haha no worries. Yes, it means you submitted your immigration application and supporting documents and financial documents to the NVC and they accepted them and said they would contact you when they were ready to schedule your interview.

Ah, we take ours to London with us.

Wow.... Your i-130 was approved in 13 days? Did you expedite your case with USCIS?

No we didn’t expedite. We were really surprised how quickly we heard back.

Good luck at the interview today!

Good luck for ur interview.
Can u pls tell me the process how i can get police certificate? My case is on NVC process. I live in London. Thanks

Kido -
Thank you!
My husband got his certificate through ACRO Criminal Records Office (link below)

Good luck!

On Monday 5/10/20 my husband had his medical appointment in London. We thought we had collected everything needed, but the doc wanted a follow up on some info from our GP as well as saying he needs 3 vaccinations.
The follow up info from the GP will be simple, he's requested it from our doctor who just needs to fax it to the London doctors office.
They did offer to provide his missing vaccines while he was at the medical appointment for the cost of £110. He decided to wait and try to get them from our local GP (which would be cost free in theory). However, we are now facing a bit of trouble getting him booked in, as there is a big delay in flu jabs just now. So - we are working on getting him into a private office for his vaccinations, at which point confirmation will just be faxed to the London doctor as well.
The London doctors office said it was very simple and quick once they have that information from us to have it sent away in time for our interview.
