Consulate Review: Dominican Republic
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 13, 2021
Embassy Review : They have limited services due to covid. We received an email with short notice of a interview date so she went for her medical and then 2 days later her VAC. They only letting in 15 min before interview time. We got ask a couple of questions of how we met how long we been together the relationship with my daughter and fiancé...also who we live with...where i work where she plans to live and then the consul out of no where says “your visa has been approved”
Rating : Very Good

Hi - out of curiosity, did the embassy in Santo Domingo schedule your interview date directly or were you able to do so via travel docs website? Thanks!

The embassy schedule the interview date directly they sent an email. They are no longer having the people schedule interview thru travel docs

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
