Event Description
Review Date : November 17, 2021
Embassy Review : Our interview time was at 9am and we got there around 8:50. We parked in the parking lot by Brioso and paid for 3 hours but only needed 30 minutes max. 5 minutes after we got there we were called back and into a room where he asked for our IDs and we did the oath.

The officer was very nice and relaxed. He started with legal name, date and place of birth, and current address for both of us. Then went over the 485 yes/no questions quickly and asked us if we brought anything we wanted them to have. We gave them the copy of our lease and our electric bill with both names. I didn't have any updates for the I-864 so I told him that and he didn't want my new paystubs or anything. We also gave him a few pictures of us with our pets and our marriage which he looked at and returned to us. He also asked how we met which felt more like making conversation instead of scrutiny but then he gave us the paper where we were recommended for approval. An hour later our status changed to New Card Being Produced

Overall super quick and super friendly, and way easier than I thought!

Harassment Level : Very Good

Following your timeline as mine is pretty similar. Only received biometrics appointment today for first week of Sept (not sure why so late compared to yours). I'm in Columbus here as well.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
