Comments : Our interview was very smooth. It lasted no more than 15-20 minutes. The officer that we had was genuinely nice and asked easy questions like “how did you meet” “where do you live”. She reviewed the aos application with my husband and had him answer the yes/no section. And then after all was done she said “you guys will be getting the card in the mail in a few weeks, since you have been married for over two years you will get the ten year green card.”

Hoping your quick turnaround is an indication that we will be receiving our NOA2 soon as well. Any advice on the interview process is greatly appreciated and I will do the same! Congrats!

Absolutely!! Honestly I was checking that app every single day multiple times so I was SO shocked when it said approved this morning!! I had to keep refreshing to see if it was real or not lol. Yours should be coming very soon 💕 there’s another girl I have been talking with that I met through visajourney on Facebook and she’s been amazing at helping prepare for what I need after noa2. So def. idk if you guys have it already but one thing I would go ahead and apply for police clearance and unabridged birth certificate because it took us four months to get.

Hey! Thank you so much for the thoughtful response! My fiancé has already started the process of getting his records, but he is having an issue for when he taught in China. So let’s hope it doesn’t take 4 months!! We have the birth certificate. Thanks again! Let’s stay in touch. I just joined the Facebook page. Didn’t even know about it. Thanks again!

Hi Are you still waiting for you police clearance? Did you have the same issue I have Even though I got an sms stating its in process, It doesn't show anything when I track it online? I'm starting to get paranoid.

You can add me on Facebook if you want. The link is above in the previous comment. My profile doesn’t notify me sometimes when people comment. But yes we literally just got a text Friday saying our police report was ready.

Ours also said in processing through text before. I can ask my fiancé and let you know cause I think he may have paid extra to get it done?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
