Hi, are you living in Barbados or a near by island?

Hi! my husband is.

Ok. Do you know how it’s suppose to work after the interview in terms of whether you can wait for the visa package or not? My consulate is Barbados also but I live in another Caribbean island. I’m just curious that after the interview, if there are options where you can wait a couple of days in Barbados and can pick up or if you’re suppose to go back in your country and they will send the package down to you?

I'm not entirely sure, since we haven't reached that stage yet. From what I know, they have you set up a courier service for the return of documents, so I think you would be able to just stay in Barbados and have your documents returned. I don't believe they do same/next day visas. But this is all from what I've read so I don't have first hand knowledge yet. Hope that helps!

Yep it helps, thanks. We just wanted to have an idea and plan on what to do. I see you submitted docs since August, have you not gotten Interview yet?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
