Hey Aaron and Clari! Just wondering if you can clear up something. I know you guys are new to this too but this website says that your I-129f was approved in 97 days, so does that mean you have your k1 visa approved?? I assume not as that seems awfully short (but amazing!). Or does it mean the file you sent was approved (as in, looked at and confirmed for next stages). The wordings confused me so just checking! And probably being too hopeful...

Hello. Sorry, we have only just seen this! We received the approval by USCIS in 97 days, but there are still further stages. The application is to be sent to NVC and then onto the embassy. We are still awaiting the response by NVC, which is overdue. So hopefully we and you will soon find out more!

Hi, just wondering how you were able to expedite the AOS?

Hello. We didn’t expedite the AOS. There were significant delays in the K1 process and application due to COVID, etc. But the process was much quicker for the I-485. In fact, we also applied for travel and work authorisation documents, but the actual green card application interview came back to us first. Processing times vary depending on a lot of factors. I hope this helps, but there wasn’t a request or procedure in place for expediting the AOS.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
