Comments : Medical scheduled 29MAR2019 for 4APR2019.
Medical information: It was a very straightforward process and the staff were all lovely. Firstly give your paperwork at reception, (Passport, Passport Photos, Medical Summary, ACRO Cert, Vaccine record, Case number).
They can take copies of anything that you require back. Urine sample in the meantime while they put that together. First Doctor, overall health check through notes and history. Blood pressure, ears, eye test, felt throat, looked at tonsils.
Strip off down to underwear and put on the gown, lungs checked with stethoscope. Felt tummy and took a vial of blood.
Nurse: Review of vaccination history. I needed a new Tetanus (as longer than 10 years since last - £45) also MMR (first of two booster shots - will have second in a minimum of 4 weeks time, either in UK or US - £45).
X-ray: Take off top half of clothes. Keep robe on. Press against machine. Hold breath. Done.
Pay £420. Info should be at the Embassy in a week according to reception.

POE Review: Tampa
Event Description
Entry Date : 2019-05-25
Embassy Review : All quite straightforward. As usual in Tampa several flights arrive simultaneously so there was a big queue in the Customs hall.
Once in the thick of the queue I approached a woman who seemed to be assessing the queues and explained I did not have an ESTA so could not be processed through the regular photo machines, she said 'Oh great - I am looking for people like you' and directed me to a different , much shorter line. Initial officer was extremely friendly, he went out of his way to make me laugh and relax. He took the scans of fingerprints and eyes and held on to my passport and white envelope. He then asked me if I had any luggage, he instructed me to collect it and then let him know. I did that and he finished the person he was processing and took me into secondary. This was a pretty slow-motion few minutes. Maybe 15 or so waiting to be called up. Much more serious look on the second officers' face. No laughing.
Asked how me and my fiancé met. When we were planning to get married. Asked me about a denial of entry I had at the Canadian border in 2018. Reminded me of the 90 day rule. That was it.

Reunited.

Hello! How did you find out that the NVC had received your case? And as soon as the NVC give you your case number are you able to book a medical appointment? Thank you!

Hi there, I had my fiancé call them once I knew it had left the USCIS. They gave the code after a few attempts. You are able to book your medical once you have the code but need a letter from the NVC before your medical can be completed and sent to the Embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
